UN OCHA’s Relief Web

ReliefWeb is a humanitarian information service managed by UN OCHA to provide global humanitarian workers with the most relevant key content and enable them to plan effective response. ReliefWeb’s editorial team monitor, collect and curate information from a variety of sources including humanitarian agencies at the international and local levels, governments, think-tanks and research institutions, and the media.

UX/UI Designer

After organizing and running a design sprint with the global ReliefWeb team, I worked closely with the editorial and engineering teams to redesign ReliefWeb. We used a streamlined, minimalist design system to improve performance of the site on mobile devices and in areas with limited data connection.
